Team Leader / Deputy Prosecutor
Miranda Blazek received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State York in 2003. Attorney Blazek graduated from Widener Law School in 2009. After graduation, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Bigham in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas. She joined the York County District Attorney's Office in July of 2010 as a Deputy Prosecutor. In September of 2011, she became the supervising Deputy Prosecutor of the Vehicular Crime Unit.
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Blazek was a Caseworker for York County Children and Youth Services. In 2004, she received a Recognition of Excellence in York County Child Welfare. She then began taking graduate courses in Public Administration at Penn State Harrisburg, but decided her passion was for justice and the law.
During law school, Attorney Blazek was Secretary of the Christian Legal Society. She also earned First Place in the 20th Annual Hugh B. Pearce Trial Advocacy Competition and a Pro Bono Service Award.
Attorney Blazek looks forward to continuing to serve her fellow citizens in York County and the interests of justice.
