AWARDS AND GRANTS

The York County District Attorney’s Office is the recipient of a grant to cover all expenses for a representative, to attend the National District Attorneys Association’s 21st Annual National Multidisciplinary Conference on Domestic Violence in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 7- 11, 2011. The District Attorney’s office was selected as one of ten from a national pool of applicants.

The Juvenile Probation Department of York County presented David Maisch with an award for his devotion to juvenile justice. Acknowledgement was made that his knowledge is invaluable in providing assistance on questions regarding appropriate charges as they arise. Dave’s assistance is not only valuable for the victim but the community as well.

Sarah Dickmyer, formerly of the Juvenile Probation Department but presently employed by the District Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile Unit was presented with the Juvenile Support Staff award for dedication for her work and willingness to help others when needed. We are pleased that she chose to join our staff.
